We were placed in the Lighthouse building. Older looking room, yellow hot water, and our bed was like a Massachusetts roadway (complete with pot holes and speed bumps). If you want access to the pool or hot tub you have to cross the street to enjoy it from the building we were in. The location is great for walking though. Sadly, we woke up stiff, felt uneasy about taking a shower, and there is a thick layer of dust on top of the curtains. Not for us.
Beautiful views. It is right on the marginal way which is a walking path along the ocean. The Hotel Has A Restaurant On THE Property THAT Has GREAT Views and food. The hotel is located just a few blocks from shopping and restaurants.
Had a great Honeymoon here two years ago and stayed in our Honeymoon Suite on our first anniversary so I booked it for our second Anniversary and got confirmation on our usual room but we got here and go into the room and find suitcases and gallons of booze stocked in the room. Management admitted they made a mistake as these people were a one night move. They said we were supposed to be in a different room which is not what my confirmation stated. We said to move them and they said they would make good on this error and asked us to take fireplace room until they could fix this in the morning. Their idea of making good was offering us a $50 discount. They ruined our second Anniversary, what a bunch of losers. They finally gave us half price the first night and free breakfast. Still a bad deal for what they put my wife through and the time we lost. Twenty one hours later we got into our room. Beware if you book here don't think our third Anniversary will be here.
Stayed across the street in Lighthouse Bldg. Building a little run down. Room was spacious. Enjoyed gas fireplace. No names on buildings or office. Wandered around before we found our room. The white sheer curtains in lighthouse hallway and room were very dirty. The plastic flower arrangements were old and falling apart. The best part is sitting on lawn chairs overlooking ocean. Room was very expensive. Probably won't return. Other nice places to stay.
Went to the bar for food and drinks. Everything was great. Anthony and Karen behind the bar was awesome. They even recommended other places to check out. Did I mention it was on the water with great views.
