It started with the warmest welcome from the Owner and continued with comfortable lush bedding and very yummy food.
After staying at 2VS mid-june 2017, I understand why they have a 5 star rating on here. Holy hospitality!

COMMON AREAS: not a spec of dirt to be found, the "magic counter" that makes dirty dishes disappear never had a dish on it for more than 5 minutes, the pool was beautiful, and the rocking chairs on the deck were comfortable and in great shape.
ROOM: The room was a touch tight for 2 suitcases but that is the only complaint I can think of for the whole place. It was excellently clean, the pillows and linens were top notch, and the towels and bath mat felt like you were drying off with teddy bears!
EXPERIENCE: Upon arrival Bruce walked out to meet us and showed us into the Inn. He pointed out landmarks, personal favorites, and popular spots from the amazing deck. Bruce then informed us that he upgraded our room to a King- room 14.
LOCATION: Perfection. Right in the center of the town. There is a pizza place, a convenient store, bars, shops, and the beach within a 5 minute walk. We walked to Perkins cove via the marginal way walkway twice with no problem but we are good walkers- I think it was 1.4 miles each way but the views of the ocean were worth every step. Getting back up the hill the inn was a good gluteal workout, so it might pose a challenge to elderly or out-of-shape people.
Immaculate, super clean, super luxurious, comfy bed, convenient location, homemade breakfast on site, nice sea-salt pool and hot tub, friendly guests, friendly hosts, small but cozy and comfortable rooms.
OVERALL we would send anyone looking for a place in Ogunquit to 2VS with full confidence they would be well taken care of. We felt that it was a great value for what we got. Bruce takes great pride in his inn and goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home (without having to do laundry, dishes, or cleaning).
I feel like we left as friends; as we definately look forward to returning to this little piece of Heaven in charming 0gunquit again!!!
